Save time in the Kitchen this Christmas

Christmas dinner needn’t mean spending hours in the kitchen preparing and cooking whilst everyone else is having all the fun!  You can get ahead of the game by preparing things early or by using some of field fare’s frozen prepared quality food.

The Turkey

This can be prepared the night before and stored in the fridge overnight.  Just remember to allow the turkey to come up to room temperature 30 minutes before cooking.

The Veg

Why spend hours chopping and slicing vegetables? Field fare’s range of loose vegetables can be ready and waiting for you in the freezer.  Choose from roast potatoes, farm house vegetables, peas and sliced beans to name but a few.  All the hard work has been done, all you need to do is cook them.

The Trimmings

Homemade Cranberry Sauce can be made up in advance and then frozen.  Defrost in the fridge on Christmas Eve.   Our ready-made sage and onion stuffing balls can be placed around meat or cooked on their own in just 30 minutes. Plus our ready-made Yorkshire Puddings cook in only 3 minutes!

For those that don’t like the traditional Christmas pudding, then field fare’s Chocolate Brownie Sponge Pudding with Chocolate Sauce will do just the job! Simply microwave in seconds.

Or how about a slice of Apple Strudel with raisins and cinnamon in a light puff pastry with a great big scoop of ice cream?

Oh my word… we have just eaten your steak and kidney puddings. I felt I had to let you know what an absolute joy these were, the taste was sublime, the meat tender, totally and utterly delicious. Sorry to rave but I was seriously impressed and that doesn’t happen often. Well done all of you”.
